Gaming is more than a hobby, it’s one of humanity's greatest superpowers. It connects people from all over the world through shared stories, challenges, and experiences without the slightest care for where they’re from or what their background is.
It’s the great uniter; creating friendships, forging families, and founding communities based on the things we love and not the immutable characteristics that are so often used to divide us.
Censorship is its kryptonite because when gamers aren’t free, their ability to connect with one another weakens. Their power erodes.
When you police language, you prevent people from sharing their ideas, perspectives, and knowledge with each other.
When you inject gaming with politics and ideologies, it becomes less enjoyable… and more divisive.
We believe that gamers want a platform that doesn’t censor and ban its creators, but recognizes their right to think for themselves and say what they want. Using code words to avoid an AI flagging your channel should be the stuff of dystopian science fiction, not reality.
Creators deserve a platform that values them, listens to their feedback, and puts their needs first. They should own their community, not the platform; and they should be treated like business partners, not content mills.
Finally, they want a platform that remains neutral and doesn’t force its own personal beliefs and agenda on its creators and customers.
That’s why we made this community… because gamers deserve it.
Rumble and Locals joined forces to empower independent creators and protect a free and open internet. We are committed to ensuring the rights of freedom of speech and freedom of expression. That’s our rallying cry and if it resonates with you, then you are in the right place.
Locals Gaming is the first step towards growing a gaming community on Rumble and Locals from the ground up. If you’re a creator, use it to share your content and invite people to your community. We frequently promote our gaming content creators on the Rumble homepage and are excited to help you find success. To get started:
Watch the ‘Create a Rumble channel’ video here
If you have a YouTube, mirror it with the click of a button
Connect the two and email [email protected] with your Rumble channel (not user profile) and Locals community URLs to be upgraded for verification and streaming.
Whether you’re a streamer, video editor, community moderator, super chatter, or casual lurker - we want you here, and we’re grateful for your support. We look forward to your ideas and critiques about how we can optimize Rumble and Locals for gaming. Anytime you have an idea for a product feature or want to report an issue, please post it in this community; that way everyone can see it and contribute if they have information to add.
The next generation of gaming streamers and content creators are carrying the torch of free speech. They’re not interested in controversial issues and politics, or maybe they are, but either way they don’t need someone else telling them how to think and what they can and can’t say. That’s why we’re gamers, because we want to figure it out for ourselves.
Thanks for joining, and we hope to see you in chat soon! GLHF 🤙
